Case Studies: Political life

The ACCEPT PLURALISM Project investigates minority and immigrant patterns of participation and representation in political life with a special focus on issues of presentation of the self and norms of interaction in politics (including violence, illiberal values, racism); transnational political practices; institutional arrangements (e.g. creation of special institutional bodies; religious parties). The project engages into both theoretical and empirical research in the 15 countries studies identifying the main claims raised by minorities and how they were solved. It looks at both policies/practices and values/principles mobilized. Relevant reports will be posted here in summer 2012.
