Second Project Meeting
University of Milan, Milan, Italy, 4-5 November, 2010
The second meeting of the ACCEPT PLURALISM project was held on 4th and 5th November 2010 at the University of Milan in Italy.
All the 17 participant teams of the project were present, as well as two members of the project's advisory board, prof. Ruth Wodak and prof. Rajeev Bhargava .
The agenda of the meeting and the discussion produced focused on two main issues:
i) the theoretical and conceptual developments on notions of (in)tolerance that will constitute the conceptual farmework needed (WP2)
ii) the case-studies of (in)tolerance in school life in each of the studied countries (WP3).
Professor Ruth Wodak offered the partners a highly synthetic training on Critical Discourse Analysis and professor Rajeev Bhargav a critical reflection on notions and meanings of tolerance/intolerance, respect and recognition of cultural diversity.
